This section of the Landowner's Stewardship Center was built for folks who think they may want to protect some or all of their land as permanent open space. It has two main sections. The first, called Starting the Land Protection Process, is a general introduction offering 5 simple steps to that will help you to focus your thinking and introduce you to local groups that can help. The second is our Land Protection Decision Tree. It will lead you through a series of simple questions and help you find the specific protection tools, programs and organizations that are most likely to fit your needs.
